|This is me!|
I wanted to start blogging because, like most stay at home moms, you want to find a way to fill those "down times" (aka naptime). I also wanted to have a place to document my fitness journey of losing 50 pounds, my everyday fashion, new recipes and all of my son's accomplishments and milestones! I apologize now if this post gets a little lengthy. In fact, I am going to start off with Part 1 today, just giving you a little of my background and then continue with Part 2 tomorrow so you don't get too overwhelmed by my ramblings! Ok, are you ready?
Here we go...
I was born and raised on a farm outside of a small town in Nebraska. Although I loved every minute of my childhood and all that came with it, I always knew I wanted something "bigger!" I met my husband when we were in Jr. High and started dating him when we were just a couple of mere 16 year olds! We dated all through high school and college and got married right after we graduated in June of 2008. Neither one of us with jobs, but somehow we survived and here we are today...together for over 11 years, married almost 5 years, and blessed with an amazing 2 year old little boy. I can't imagine my life without either of these two men. Although our life isn't always perfect, I am grateful for what God has blessed me with!
