So, let me quit my rambling and allow you to feast your eyes on my "Five on Friday!"
1.)
So we decided to test out Madden's first pair of goggles for swimming lessons this week. He thought he was the coolest kid on the block with them on. I think he looked 10 years old, not 2 1/2, which made me realize even more just how fast time is flying by...ahem, can we say baby fever??? ;)
2.)
For reference, I am in a size small, as it fits true to size |
3.)
Remember how I told you on Tuesday how I was thinking ahead and I actually meal planned for the week? Well, all of the recipes were delicious, but this recipe was by far the best one! I HIGHLY recommend this meal if you love yourself a good fish taco. I was able to whip these bad boys up in under 10 minutes and had them on the table in 20. Easy Peasy. Find the full recipe for these Mojito Grilled Fish Tacos here.
4.)
So I have been racking my brain Pinterest all week for a great Father's Day gift for the Dads in my life. Then I came upon this little guy. I am loving this idea for Madden to give to his Daddy, and two Papas! I mean, how simple would this be to whip up, yet so cool to look back on as he gets older...quite possibly making this a tradition every year until he's old enough to actually "know" what he's talking about? Consider "Project: Father's Day" complete! You can find this idea on my Pinterest Board Here
5.)
These two. My favorite two men in the entire world. One made me a wife. The other made me a Mama. I couldn't ask for anything more than these two. God has truly blessed me when he gave me them. And my heart explodes with love whenever I see them together! (And for all you Mama's out there wondering how you can get a two year old to sit still and smile for a picture...just give them a bag of popcorn the size of their body and you are set!)
That's all for me for today lovelies! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!! See you back here next week, as I've got some pretty great things in the works for all you beautiful readers of mine out there...you won't want to miss it!
Until next time...
