Five on Friday Faves

What's going on, my lovelies??  Are y'all as excited as I am about the fact that it's finally FRIDAY??!!  I cannot even begin to express my excitement for that which is the weekend!  And it's not just any weekend...it's a three day weekend, Labor Day weekend, Husker Football (or I guess we could be generic and say college football in general) opening weekend, but most importantly (for me) it's my sister's bachelorette party weekend!!!  Yippeeeee!!

There is just so much to be excited about for this weekend, so what better way to kick off these three days of bliss than with my fave blogging day of the week and another edition of "Five on Friday?"  I absolutely love this link up for so many reasons...but I feel like I could go on and on today with my "Five!"  Anyway, let's get to it, and join Darci and a few other awesome ladies for this link up!

{One.}
It's baaaaaaack!!  Y'all I am over. the. moon. EXCITED for this little drink of deliciousness to make it's happy return!!  I literally wait all year long for pumpkin spice everything, and I cannot get enough.  They seriously need to consider just making it a staple on their everyday menu.  I mean, who wouldn't love a pumpkin spice latte on the Fourth of July?? ;)  Needless to say, you will for sure find one of these in my hand 6 out of 7 days of the week from now until January.  #truth

{Two.}
GOOOOO BIIIIIIIG REEEEED!  GO BIG RED!  That's right.  There's no denying the fact that I am a die hard Husker fan.  My Dad played football (and went to school) there.  I graduated from there.  My sister graduated from there.  My brother was going to go there until he went back to the farm to help my Dad when he got sick.  So Husker Red pretty much runs through our blood.  I look forward to football season every fall...not only for the games, but to hang this lovely little number on our front door!!  how adorable is that?  I got it made at a local boutique just down the road from me, and this gal does everything from sports teams to birthday signs.  They are each unique and no two are the same.  Love it!  If you want, you can check it out online:  Harbor Farm Chick Market.  Love that place.  But I love my door sign more...

{Three.}
There is less than two months left until my baby sister ties the knot...and, in typical Matron of Honor fashion, I wouldn't feel like I'm doing my job justice unless I bragged about her beautiful and unique invitations that came in the mail last week.  She created them from scratch, as she wanted them to be original.  I think her mission was accomplished!  These pictures don't truly exemplify just how gorgeous they are in real life, but all I have to say is she did good.  I CANNOT wait for the big day!  As for my MOH speech...that's a whole other story!  Ask me in about 6 weeks...

{Four.}
This boy.  Oh be still my beating heart.  We leave him at Grammy and Papa's (my Mom and Dad's) for a week and he comes back a totally different kid!  I don't know what they all did to him, but he will actually eat everything off his plate, do what I say without me having to ask a hundred times, and the best part???  He no longer needs to wear pull-ups to bed!!  I'm pretty sure I owe my parents big time.  We are now not only a diaper free house (and have been for about 8 months), but also a pull up free house.  As happy as I am about that accomplishment, is it bad that I just want time to pause now???  Because it's definitely going by waaaay too fast!!  Slow down little boy...stop growing so fast.

{Five.}
Have y'all been on Pinterest lately???  Well, if you haven't, trust me when I say that everyone and their dog is thinking what I'm thinking: It's time for FALL!!!  The majority of the pins on my homescreen today were pumpkin/apple/fall related.  And I just can't complain!  But, these little suckers caught my eye...I mean I love pumpkin pie.  I love cheesecake.  I love mini versions of any dessert.  And these are all three of those things!  Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake with a Gingersnap crust.  YUMMO.  This is definitely going into my "make immediately" recipe bin.  I cannot wait to dive head first into these little morsels!

Well my dears, I think that about does it for me!  I've got a crazy weekend lined up, and I've still got a million things left to do before my party tomorrow night!  Be on the lookout for a replay of our shenanigans on a post next week.  I promise it will be one you won't want to miss!

Have a great weekend y'all!

Until next time...

Thursday Thoughts...

Hello my dears!!  It's Thursday!!  Or "Friday Eve" as I like to call it...it sounds better that way, don't you think?? :)

This week is slipping through my fingers and I just can't seem to catch up on all that is on my "to-do" list this week!  There just aren't enough hours in the day.  Sure, I could be working on some decorations for my sis's party, or prepping the 150 jello shots I am making for that night, but nope.  Instead, I am here.  At my happy place.  Chatting with all y'all.  My 30 minutes of me time.

Usually, I do a regular Wednesday post of "So What Wednesday" but instead, since I announced this BIG GIVEAWAY yesterday (which, if you haven't entered yet, you totally need to), I decided to change my "so what's" into Thursday Thoughts...same concept, just on a different day with a different name.  Am I confusing you yet?  Hope not.  Here we go...

  • So the hubs and I ordered half a steer two weeks ago.  Sound strange??  Welp, if you are from Nebraska or anywhere in the midwest actually, you know just what I am talking about.  My Dad is a rancher, and has over 5,000 head of cows, bulls and calves.  He also has a few animals a year that he strictly fattens up (in the pasture and with corn) that are strictly raised for the purpose of eating.  Hence, the half a steer we will be consuming come Sunday.  This may gross some of y'all out.  But, I grew up eating home grown beef and let me tell ya...it is the BEST steak, hamburger and roast you have ever tasted.  Have you ever heard of Omaha Steaks?  Yeah.  There's a reason we are known for our meat.  There is just no better beef than that from Nebraska...yeah, I'm biased...If you are ever interested in giving some good 'ol Nebraska beef a shot, let me know.  I might be able to work something out to get you some!
  • Madden's Montessori had a little Open House last night for all of the parents.  We were invited to go and see where Madden spends 3 1/2 hours of his day, everyday.  What he does on a daily basis, get to know his teachers a little better and to see him interact with some of the other students.  Let me tell y'all...I am BEYOND impressed with the Montessori set-up.  To see our son go from a typical 2 1/2 year old who didn't listen all too well, to within the last month of him being back in school, he is a completely different child.  They work wonders there.  And bless their hearts for putting up with 18 of our children on a daily basis!  Lord knows I wouldn't have the patience for that!!
  • The last three days, after I've picked Madden up from school we have headed straight to the pool to spend a couple hours trying to avoid the 100+ degree heat we have been having this week.  And I have a confession to make: remember all of the times that I complained about swimming lessons?  You know, hopping in knee deep water and trying to wrangle a 2 year old?  Remember how I despised that??  Well, I am now putting my foot in my mouth.  This kid really did learn something.  We put on his new puddle jumper that we got last week and we go to the deeper end of the pool (away from all of the screaming toddlers) and I just let him go to town.  He's like a little fish.  So I guess those lessons actually paid off.  I guess sometimes I am wrong...
  • I spent an hour last night putting together this little "bouquet" for my sister's party.  Over 100 dum-dum's later, I think this little "suck for a buck" turned out pretty cute!  Now, do you think we can get them all sold on Saturday night??  You better believe we are going to try our hardest!
Well, I know this post was completely random and all over the place, but those are my thoughts for this lovely Friday Eve!  I've gotta run...I've got 150 Jello shots to make...wish me luck!

Until next time...

Being Grateful.

Well hello there my friends!  First off, I want to send a huge THANK YOU to all of you that gave suggestions and ideas yesterday for games, drinks, and food ideas for my sister's bachelorette this weekend!  I am not kidding you when I say you made my life 100 times easier!!  I cannot thank y'all enough!  I think I now have a game plan for the night...and it's going to be a blast (if I do say so myself!)

Now...to turn the page and focus on the topic for today's post: Being Grateful.  I had a whole other post ready for today, but when I read Brin's post over at Bold Butter Baby, something just hit me...and I sat down to just pour out my heart on here this morning.

So much of my life lately has been focused on one thing: having another baby.  It has literally consumed my life and it is by far the most stressful and physically exhausting thing I have ever gone through.  And, when I finally took a step back, relaxed and examined my life this past week while on vacation, I realized I just need to let go.  I need to stop obsessing over every month.  I need to relax and focus on the most important things in my life.  The people in my life that I make me who I am.

My two boys.  My husband and my son.  They are here right now.  They love me more than I ever could ask for and I am truly blessed to call them mine.  Together we are a family and that is all I could ever want.  Would I like another child?  Of course.  But what I do have is more important than anything else.

I have a loving husband who works extra hard to provide for our family.  It's because of his determination and work ethic that I am able to stay home and care for our son everyday and to take care of all of the household responsibilities.  He gives me a kiss and tells me to have a great day every morning before he leaves for work at 6:30 in the morning.  And as soon as he walks through the door (sometimes as late as 8:30 at night) the first thing he does is give me a kiss and hug and tells me that he loves me.  He thanks me regularly for all that I do for the family and supports me in all of my decisions.  I couldn't ask for anything more.  He was my first love (at the ripe old age of 15) and my only love.  I can't imagine my life without him.  So for him, I am grateful.
I have a little man who is my everything.  He is my heart and soul.  You never quite know this type of love until you have a child.  He tells me he loves me everyday.  He makes me laugh at least 50 times per day.  And I am truly amazed at how smart he is even at the young age of 2 1/2.  His hug and kiss coming from his sleepy head are the best part about my morning.  And him wanting to "rock a rittle bit" after reading a story is the best part about my night.  I would do anything for that boy.  I couldn't ask for more in a child.  So for him, I am grateful.
Now honestly, I didn't mean to get all mushy and gushy on this post today, but I just had a little wake up call this morning and it was exactly what I needed.  I need to focus on the here and now.  I need not take what I do have for granted.  Whatever will be, will be.  And if God decides to bless us with another little life, we will be eternally grateful.  But if that's not in His plans, then I couldn't ask for anything more.  I love my life and the people that are in it.  I need to stop being greedy and be thankful for what I have.

What are you grateful for?

Until next time...

Well Hello There...

I'm baaaaack!!!  Did ya miss me???  Probably not, and I'm not gonna lie, it was kind of nice just being shut down for a few days.  I did miss y'all though...it's crazy the amount of friendships I have developed on here, so being away from blogging made it feel as though I was disconnected from my friends.  And that part I didn't like so much!  But I'm back now and I'm here all week!  Yippee!

Now y'all are probably expecting me to do a long-ass boring post on what we all did on our little getaway, but surprise, surprise!  I'm not...(yet, anyway!)  Say whaaaaaat??!!  I'm sure you are just as shocked as I was about not hearing a vacay recap today.  But I have a more pressing topic I wanted to throw out there to y'all.  Ok, so it's not some super serious topic of discussion, but I do have some questions for you.  HELP!!!!

So, remember how I told you that my sister's bachelorette party is Labor Day weekend?  Well guess what?  Did y'all know that THIS weekend is Labor Day weekend??!!  Shoot!  It is super early this year, and in typical Jenna fashion, I waited until the last minute to throw things together for her party!  Let's just say with school starting for the little guy and a week long vacation thrown in the mix, I got a little side-tracked...I seriously had it in my head that next weekend was Labor Day so I figured I had plenty of time.  Welp, I was wrong.  The party is this Saturday.  And while I do have a lot planned, there are still some items that I need help with!  This is where you guys come in...

Now, the layout of the night goes a little something like this:

7:00 p.m.: 28 (early 20's) girls are arriving at my house, where we will start the night with food, drinks, presents for my sister and games.

10:00 p.m.: A 30 person party bus is picking us up at my front door and driving us downtown (which is about 30 minutes from our house) and dropping us off at a popular bar down there.  (I literally had to ask my college aged cousin the hot-spots downtown because I'm such an old lady and am in bed by 9:30 on Friday and Saturday nights!)  Where we will proceed to drink, dance, sell suckers for a buck to desperate single guys to raise a little moolah for the bride.

11:30 p.m.:  There may, or may not be a little surprise stop to Omaha's version of "The Thunder From Down Under" planned for my sister's last night of "freedom!"  I mean, why not, right?? Haha!

1:30 a.m.:  The bus is picking us back up and bringing us home.  Lord help me...I have a feeling it's going to be a shit show.

We also have about 18 of those girls staying at my house since most of them are coming from out of town...so it is going to be one big "slumber party" if you will!

Soooooo, now that you have the down low on the itinerary for the night, this where y'all come in.  I need your help with a couple things:

  • What games should we play before we hit the town...What did you play at your own bachelorette, or at friends' parties?  I'm really struggling with ideas for this, so I would really appreciate it if you could throw some ideas my way!!  (I've been striking out on Pinterest for this one!)
  • What is your favorite flavor jello shot recipe?  I want to do something different, and I've got to make about 100+ of them, so I need some variety!
  • What is your go-to for snack food at a party where you know you will be drinking most of the night?  I need ideas for some foods with "substance" if you know what I mean...items that will "soak up" a night full of drinking so girls aren't falling over before we even leave the house!
Ok...I think that's it.  I apologize if this wasn't what you were expecting when you came here today...I just needed help with those few things and who better to ask than y'all??  I appreciate any and every little bit of help you can give me!!  I just want to make this night memorable for one of my favorite girls...

Until next time...

Just Wanted to Check in...

Hey lovelies! I just had to pop in and say a quick (late) hello!  I wasn't even going to post anything today, but it just didn't feel right, so here I am, day one of vacation, whipping up a post for y'all...you're welcome ;)

We flew in this morning and got in at 10:30...so we've had the entire day to get acclamated to the condo and area that we are staying in.

One word: HOT. Holy smokes y'all, it is flipping 105 degrees here today! Fortunately, for us, we are spending the day by the pool, and trying to keep cool!

The rest of the day is just a bunch of lounging before dinner. It's going to be an early night for us, as we are two hours behind our "home" time!

Well, sorry for this being so short, I just wanted to catch y'all up on what's happening!

Until next time...

Let's Rewind

Another weekend has come and gone...and, as it always does, Monday has reared its ugly head once again.  I can't complain, though, because the weekend was jam packed with activities.

Let's rewind what went down these last few days...

Friday night called for a babysitter for the "little" as Mommy and Daddy headed out on the town with some friends to celebrate one of our good friend's birthday.  This meant Mommy had herself a few too many lemon drop martinis as it had been a long time since I had been out sans child!
After dinner, we capped the night off with dessert drinks where I sipped on a coconut cream pie martini topped off with a toasted coconut marshmallow and whipped cream.  It probably contained 1000 calories, but it was worth every.single.one.  Sooooo yummy!

Saturday morning left me with a throbbing headache, as I realized that I'm not 21 anymore, therefore cannot party like one...but, I've found the best way for me to cure my hangover is to go for a nice long run to sweat out every last ounce of alcohol left in my system.  So, I did just that with a 10 mile run around a lake near our house.  And wouldn't you know it, I felt 100 times better when I got home, had my cup of coffee and some greek yogurt with blueberries and honey and I was good to go...

Saturday lunch was time spent with my Mom and Sis as they came into town to work on some wedding details, so we had lunch at a little cafe, spent an hour together doing some shopping before I had to head home to get ready for our friends' daughter's 1st birthday party!
The party was a lot of fun because the weather was gorgeous, Madden burned off tons of energy playing in the bounce house they had set up, and he was able to run around with his friends...only downside was the party was right at nap time which we weren't too concerned about until he had a major meltdown around 4:00...we knew right then and there that was our sign that it was time to peace out.

Then it was home for naps, before we packed back up and headed over to a friend's house for dinner and drinks.  Where we consumed large amounts of smoked ribs, chicken and shrimp, fresh mojitos and my all-time favorite treat of the summer: s'mores around the fire pit.  It was the perfect ending to a busy day.
Sunday morning was pretty laid back as we enjoyed our coffee while watching the news and the little guy ran around in his underwear playing with his new favorite friend:  a baby boy doll he has appropriately named "Hannah".  Any and all babies are named this after the little girl's birthday party we went to on Saturday afternoon.  She is the only "baby" he knows, hence every baby being known as Hannah.
We then helped the hubs finish packing as he is off to San Diego for work until Wednesday. We said our good-byes, then ate lunch, packed up and Madden and I went and ran a few errands to break up the afternoon and to get some last minute necessities...I mean, who doesn't love going to Target or Wal-Mart on a Sunday afternoon??
Excuse the wrinkled forehead and cheesy smile...just focus on the cutie in the background!
Sunday night was spent mowing, laundry, a quick run to grab a bite to eat (because when Daddy's gone, this Mommy doesn't cook!!) and lots and lots of packing:
Yes, that is all mine.  My poor guest bedroom has been transformed into my packing station.
What's that you say?  Packing, again?  Yep.  I'm going on another trip.  Tuesday morning I'm off with a girlfriend to Phoenix where our husbands (who work in the same office) are then meeting us on Wednesday night when they are finished with their conference in CA to spend a few days relaxing, hanging by the pool, some lake time and eating and drinking until we can't anymore.  No kiddos, no work, no responsibilities until we get back Sunday morning.  That said, I will be MIA around these parts after tomorrow.  And I couldn't be happier :D

Whew!!  What a weekend!  I hope you had just as much fun as we did.

Well, let's get this show on the road...and show Monday who's boss.  Have a great one, y'all!!

Until next time...

Friday Faves

Two words:  Happy Friday!!  'Nuff said about that...The weekend is upon us and I couldn't be more excited.  Don't I say that every Friday?  I don't care if I do...I think we all feel that way, so I'm not ashamed :)

Well, folks, it's time for another edition of "Five on Friday" with Darci and a few other amazing gals.  Here's what I'm favoring at the moment:

{One.}
Is it Fall yet??  It seriously feels like it around these parts lately with temps only reaching the upper 60's yesterday.  It's times like these when all I can think about is everything fall scented and flavored: pumpkin, cozy vanillas and cinnamon apple or cranberry...yummy.  I seriously had to use restraint when in Bath and Body Works the other day.  I'm pretty sure I could have walked out with enough fall scented soaps, candles and lotions to last me until next year.  I just can't help myself!!

{Two.}
Have you ever wondered what sweet heaven tastes like?  This.  This right here, would be a pretty close representation as to what glorious drops of heaven taste like.  Caramel Crispix.  It is beyond simple to whip up, and utterly out of this world divine.  I can't stop eating it.  If you haven't noticed, I'm kinda addicted to my sweets, so when I find something that blows my socks off, I just have to share...soooo, I'm sharing this one with y'all.  It is that good.  Recipe found here.

{Three.}
So I stumbled across this little number while perusing Pinterest the other day and I'm OBSESSED with this pink puffer vest!!  I'm also digging the layering of gingham with it, but that vest.  Unbelievable.  Problem is, the picture doesn't link to anything, so I can't find out where this vest is from.  If y'all could point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful.  My closet needs this like yesterday. #umthankyouverymuch

{Four.}
If you didn't already know, I'm a born and raised Nebraska girl, which means I am a die hard Husker fan.  I mean, you can't live in this state and not like the Huskers.  It's all we have in this great state, otherwise known as "the good life."  So come Saturdays in two weeks, not a single Nebraskan won't be donning their red and white attire.  But how cute are these personalized little numbers?  I like to add a new Husker piece to my wardrobe every season, so I might just need to add that Nebraska State hoodie to my closet this year...

{Five.}
Now I know that we celebrated our five year anniversary nearly two months ago, already, but I stumbled upon this guy on Etsy the other day when searching for wedding gifts for my little sis.  How awesome would this be to give to a couple on their anniversary, or even to your spouse?  I'm thinking landmark anniversaries would be perfect for this...and add to them as the years go on.  If it's personalized, I think it means a lot more, so I'm definitely sold on this guy!

Well that's all for today my loves.  I hope you have a fantastic weekend!THE GOOD LIFE BLOG
Until next time...

"Firsts"

Happy Friday eve, my dears!  I wanted to do a fun little post today to help y'all get to know me just a little bit better...I love reading things like this, so when I saw Amy from over at "A Balancing Act" do this post a couple weeks ago, I just knew I wanted to borrow her idea!  Thank you Amy!!

Anyway, here are a bunch of random "Firsts" from the life of me...

First thing you do when you wake up in the morning:

Put on my workout clothes that I laid out the night before, slather on some deodorant, and brush my teeth before heading to get my workout in.  (I always do my workout early in the morning before I talk myself out of it!)

First thing you reach for when you open the fridge:

My sugar free caramel macchiato creamer for my coffee.  (I workout on an empty stomach, then coffee is immediately following my protein shake)  I cannot think about anything else until I have my caffeine!!

First thing you do when you get to the gym:

20-30 minutes of interval training on the elliptical or the treadmill before heading to lift weights.

First thing you do when you get home from work:

Well, since I technically "work" from home, the first thing I do when the hubs gets home from work, after he changes his clothes, comes downstairs, we have a drink (a beer, a mixed cocktail, or a glass of wine) together while we eat dinner and talk about each others' days. (more of me talking since it's my first adult interaction of the day and him nodding along)

First car:

1988 Buick Riviera.  I ran that puppy to the ground...

First accident:

Knock on wood, I haven't been in an accident...I realllly hope I didn't just jinx myself!

First thing you wanted to be when you grew up:

I have NO CLUE why I wanted to be this, because I think mouths are disgusting, but I always wanted to be a dentist...until about the 2nd grade, when I realized that I hated bad breath, tongues and nasty teeth! ha!

First choice beverage:

If you have been around here for the past few weeks, you would know that my drink of choice right now is Root Beer Float Vodka mixed with Cherry Coke Zero.  Yummy in my tummy!

First choice breakfast:

Any sort of omelet.  Veggie, all meat, cheese, you name it.  Pair that with a side of hashbrown potatoes and we are set!

First choice dessert:

Well, considering that sweets are my weakness, it's hard to choose just one, but I would have to say one of my all time faves would have to be the white chocolate bread pudding from a restaurant here in Omaha called Biaggi's.  To die for.

First song that comes to mind:

Nelly and Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise."  Maybe it's because my two year old son requests to listen to it every time we are in the car!

First major purchase:

Our current house that we bought when we moved back to Nebraska over a year and a half ago.  This was the best purchase we've ever made, thus far.

First job:

A cashier at a local pharmacy in my hometown when I was 17.  This was during the time in my life where I thought I wanted to be a pharmacist, so I was just trying to get a feel for that profession...we all know how that one turned out!

First time you flew on a plane:

Y'all.  I grew up on a farm, so we never took vacays further than an hour from our house where we could drive.  So, the first time I flew on a plane I was 17 and a Junior in high school with my softball team.  I was beyond nervous, so I took some xanex and drowsy dramamine and crashed for the entire 2 1/2 hour flight to Florida.  I don't remember a single minute of it!

See??  Wasn't that fun??  Thank you, Amy for the great idea!!  Feel free to share this post on your blog...it's a fun one to whip up!

Until next time...

So What Wednesday

Hello my dears!  Happy Hump Day!

When you came here today, did you notice anything different??  Anything??  If you didn't, you might be new to these parts...and that's ok!! ;)  That's right folks, I got a little blog makeover!  I am so excited about this new space of mine!  It feels so fresh, so new, so clean and I am IN LOVE!  Thank you to the "oh so talented" Hubby Jack and his beautiful partner in crime and better half, Holly for the complete overhaul of this little place I call mine!  They really outdid themselves and I cannot thank them enough for their teamwork in creating the new layout!  They are truly rockstars at what they do.  #truth

This layout and style feels more like me and makes me sooo excited to blog again!  I mean, am I the only one who gets in slumps and can't, for the life of them, figure out what to write about some days??  I've been in major stugglesville lately and am hoping this will give me the kickstart I've needed to get the ball rolling again!  So take a look around, enjoy the beauty that is this new design...ahhhhh...so refreshing!

Anywho, enough about that, now it's onto the good stuff!

Today is Wednesday, so that means it's time for me to say "So What..."

So What:

  • If I bought my first fall scented item last week.  All of the Bath and Body Works fall fragrances are my weaknesses, especially when it comes to their candles.  I just cannot get enough.  I usually will have a nice 'lil stock pile saved up at the end of the season to last me through February...I mean it's completely legit to be still be burning creamy pumpkin scents when pink hearts are everywhere, right??  Juskiddin...maaaaybe...
  • If I've been wearing some sort of hat for the past four days...I mean, I've showered and everything, buuuuuut I may or may not have washed my hair since Saturday...I'm thinking there's only so much dry shampoo can do before I start to look like a greasy dog...hence, the hat situation.  Have y'all tried any dry shampoos??  Which ones do you like?  Which ones work the best for you?  This is the one I use, and I love it.  It works great and it's cheap...what's not to like about that??
  • If I spent my afternoon yesterday at my parent's house helping my sister assemble, stuff, label and stamp all 500 of her wedding invites that are going out this weekend...yes, you read that right: 500 invitations.  That's what happens when you live in a small town...everyone and their dog has to be invited or shit hits the fan...that large number aside, they are absolutely beautiful and very unique.  Just makes me that much more excited for the big day!
  • If I let my child eat goldfish for breakfast this morning.  I asked him what he was hungry for, and he said "nuffin..."  So I gave him a few options: pb&j, muffins, or frozen waffles and he goes: "no fanks..." Then he saw the goldfish and declared that was what he wanted.  At that point, being we had to be out the door 5 minutes ago, I caved and let him have goldfish on the way to school.  Mom of the year right here...somedays you just have to pick your battles!
  • If my workouts have become less and less intense over the past couple of weeks.  I just want to change things up, physically, to maybe set this baby maker into "produce" mode...not saying my workouts were deterring anything from happening in that department, I just want to see if that makes a difference...time will tell.  That, combined with not weighing myself anymore, might cause things to fit a little differently, but some things are a little more important...and I've got my sights set on the big picture...Lord help me!!
Well, that's about it, loves!  Also, check out my Closet Sale post from yesterday...I reduced some prices on some things, so get 'em while they're hot (and cheap!)

Until next time...
